- eliminating post-production waste sent to landfill (TZMO drive to ZERO WASTE),
- using only reusable or recyclable packaging (TZMO drive to CIRCULAR PACKAGING),
- reducing greenhouse gas emissions and achieving net-zero emissions for the TZMO Group, with the aim of achieving a 'Climate Positive' state by 2050 (TZMO drive to NET-ZERO EMISSIONS),
- building a safety culture among employees and eliminating accidents (TZMO drive to ZERO ACCIDENT).
Our commitments are ambitious by going beyond the legal requirements. In fact, they are a declaration that cares for people, their safety and the environment in which they live and is embedded in TZMO's everyday business activities.
TZMO drive to ZERO WASTE
TZMO Group's ambitious commitment to responsible waste management
Programme adopted for years 2020-2025
Programme objectives:
- Full control of post-production waste from generation to final disposal.
Knowledge of final waste management.
- Disposal of post-production waste from landfill.
Post-production waste management in line with the circular economy.
Take a look at the infographic outlining the key steps on our road to ZERO WASTE.
TZMO Group's road to ZERO WASTE
The success in achieving the objectives of the programme in each year is due to the commitment of our employees and the initiatives taken together:
- we optimise our processes
- we implement waste-free production technologies
- we modernise our machinery
- we carry out internal recycling processes
- we have recycling lines in the TZMO Group that ensure the recycling of a significant part of the waste produced by the Group's production companies.
TZMO drive to CIRCULAR PACKAGING
TZMO Group's ambitious commitment to responsible packaging management, based on the assumptions of a circular economy
Programme adopted for years 2023-2027
Programme objectives:
- Create a packaging product portfolio where 100% of packaging is reusable or recyclable
- Reduce the use of primary raw materials in packaging
- Increase the use of recycled secondary raw materials in packaging
The TZMO Group's holistic approach to the issue of the Circular Economy of packaging is related to our producer's responsibility for the full life cycle of all consumed raw materials. That means that we focus on all types of packaging - primary, secondary and transport - and based on all types of packaging materials - plastics, paper and cardboard, metals, glass and others.
Considering the TZMO Group's responsibility for the environmental impact of the entire packaging, and not just part of it, we are making changes to the packaging of our own brand products so that they have the lowest possible negative impact on the environment.
TZMO drive to NET-ZERO EMISSIONS
The TZMO Group's ambitious commitment to achieve net zero emissions, with the aim of becoming “Climate Positive”
Programme adopted for the years 2023-2050
The idea behind the programme is to consciously manage greenhouse gas emissions arising from the activities of TZMO Group companies, but also from the value chain. We want to achieve this by:
- measuring the carbon footprint,
- establishing a decarbonisation path,
- reducing greenhouse gas emissions and removing them from the atmosphere.
In the TZMO Group, we are not only focused on reducing our impact on global warming and achieving climate neutrality, but we will also strive to have a positive impact on the climate through negative net emissions.
This will allow us to effectively manage the risks and opportunities associated with climate impacts and mitigate climate change by minimising greenhouse gas emissions.
Implementing these measures will make it possible to stop global warming at the level set by the Paris Agreement.
TZMO drive to ZERO ACCIDENT
TZMO Group's ambitious commitment to creating an accident-free workplace and building a safety culture in TZMO Group organisations
Programme adopted for the years 2023-2030
Safety is an essential element of modern business. A safe working environment and health protection is not only compliance with legal regulations, it is the highest value on which we want to build trust and a sense of security among the employees of the TZMO Group.
The activities of the programme are aimed at eliminating accidents at work by, among other things, raising awareness, developing appropriate attitudes and behaviour, standardising activities in the companies and involving all employees, regardless of their rank and position.
