Purchasing policy of TZMO Group
TZMO Group offers its customers all over the world, products and services of the finest quality, thanks to which their lives are made easier, more comfortable and safer.
We also understand that the best solutions are only good when customers can afford them, that is why we constantly work on optimising the cost of products and services offered. It is especially important in the case of medical products, those used to take care of elderly people and those offered in developing markets.
We know that in order to accomplish our mission we need to cooperate with a wide array of suppliers who believe in similar values.
The principles of our cooperation with suppliers and our essential requirements towards suppliers are set out in TZMO Group Purchasing Policy.
TZMO Group Purchasing Policy
The TZMO Group Purchasing Policy is an integral part of the Integrated Management System and supports the realization of the company's mission and business objectives. This document sets out the framework for cooperation with suppliers. The principles of this Policy apply to all transactions with entities outside the TZMO Group. Our suppliers play a key role in fulfilling our mission. We expect their commitment, support, and adherence to the values that underpin our operations.
How we conduct procurement:
We conduct procurement based on partnership relations with our suppliers. We are committed to adhering to sustainability principles throughout the procurement process.
Our supplier selection decisions are based on objective criteria, including risk analysis, commercial terms, and adherence to sustainable procurement principles in accordance with ISO 20400. We ensure equal opportunities for all suppliers to compete, including local entities and small and medium-sized organizations (SMOs). We exercise due diligence to ensure that sustainability principles are upheld throughout our value chain.
We conduct procurement ethically and transparently, with a zero-tolerance policy for any form of corruption. Procurement decisions are subject to internal approval processes in accordance with applicable procedures. A breach reporting system is available to all participants in the procurement process, including suppliers and potential partners. This system allows for reporting violations of laws, regulations, and internal standards applicable within the TZMO Group, including cases of corruption and other unethical practices.
What we require from our suppliers:
We require our suppliers to absolutely ensure the quality, timeliness, and safety of delivered products and services, as well as active cooperation in minimizing environmental impact throughout the entire value chain. In particular, we require cooperation in achieving the TZMO Group's goals and programs related to greenhouse gas emission reduction and promoting a circular economy.
To ensure the wide availability of our products, including for those who particularly need them, we expect competitive pricing from our suppliers, active cooperation in innovation, and cost optimization.
We require our suppliers to employ ethical business practices and to act with respect for fundamental human rights. We expect suppliers to comply with local labor laws and International Labor Organization standards, especially regarding the non-use of child labor, the elimination of all forms of forced and compulsory labor, non-discrimination in employment and occupation, and respect for freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining.
Regular suppliers are required to sign the TZMO Group Supplier Code of Conduct.
